Another fine example of Fender always trying to make things better. 8)

This section is jaw droppingly good.
http://www.fender.com/news/index.php?group=tech_talk

Its got everything. Ability to expand, lighthearted yet informative, its easy to understand, and it comes with the fender seal. So you know your doing right.
I particularly enjoyed the 'buying a guitar' section. Even the people that benefit the most from guitar sales, say try before you buy. That displays a caring attitude, one I've come to expect out of fender. More than any other manufacturer i use anyway.

Honestly, some of it looks cool, but some of it looks kind of generic...like the white and sparse nature of the new forum lay out...and its just too freaking bright to my eyes... :?

Hey, I just noticed that the title of a given discussion thread is in white on a white background, rendering it invisible. This should be an easy fix.

And I have to admit I'm disappointed not to have user-defined avatars.

I also miss the automatic boldface of URLs.

But on the whole I approve wholeheartedly! 8)

Superb, utterly great.

Buy online options/links.
( will they be made available on the uk site?)

The inclusion of Buy Online here ultimately does make one ask that question, yes. I can virtually guarantee that that function will exist for the international market at some point, yes.

Yes, that is completely new from the ground up and we really tried to introduce a better-navigating experience across the board.

The online tuner is superb. No lazy watch a meter nonsense, you actually have to use your ears.

Awesome, glad you're liking that! I really wanted that feature as it's something rather obvious that we've never offered on this site. We added the "custom" tuning option per my request as well -- it's totally useful for those occasional non-standard, one-off tunings.

The tabs for specs, artists, and images in the individual products screens aren't working either.

If you're still getting that behavior try dumping your cache -- and if after doing so you're still getting it, I'd like to hear about it. E-mail me.

Still getting a few errors coming up on the CS section. The notrod delivers fatal error (sounds ominous) when you click for details.

Known issue, working on solution -- thanks.
