I have a guitar stand that holds 5 guitars in a sideways position. Is there any concern for regular storage in this position? I like to have access to my guitars at all times and keeping them in the case is too inconvenient. The stand is in an area where it cannot be knocked over and I do not have pets or children.

Cant imagine it would do them any harm, sometimes when im being cautious i lay my strat down on top of the bed, figure it cant fall over!

Mostly my acoustic is just propped against a chair, probably asking for bother but you know how it is.
