Then I had to really mod a Gator case to get this to fit in it:

Thanks for the pics and suggestions. I think I'll be working on it over Christmas. (Hopefully I'll have time)

I was just going to paint the outside of my case. It's all white and looks kinda bumpy on the outside so I just wanted to paint my own personal design on it just to cover it up.

I know it's not smooth, so I know I'll have to sand down some parts. I'm not going to paint on the entire cover. I want to leave the white on it. I'm going to test parts on the back to see how it looks. If it doesn't look right, then I'll just cover up the test parts with stickers that I got from Coffin Case and hopefully Heavy Red (a goth clothing company) will send the sticker they said they would send.

I plan on doing a Hamlet theme on it. No skulls though because I don't want to be cliche. I want a different design. I'm filling up my sketchbook now with some simple designs. I think I might have come up with one that might work.

I've painted on wood before just not vinyl (so I have acrylics and primer). I posted it on youtube. If you type in "Twilight podium" you'll see my work under my username LadyVendettaAngel. I was surprised the design on my podium came out as well as it did. :D

The guitar has a stereo output, each neck is a channel. I didn't want to add a lot of extra knobs and switches. So the Hardtail neck has a Volume and Tone control. The Tremolo neck has just a Volume control (no tone control on it).

The selector switch works both set of pickups (those switches are double throw, so can control 2 electronically independent circuits). Some of the MIJ doublenecks have a volume control by the upper neck. On that kind of set up, each neck could have a master tone control.

I use an A/B Switching Pedal to switch between necks and route the output to an amp.

I've never modded a case but this subject reminded me of a sacriledge performed on a '62 L series Strat yearsago.A guy I know bought a gently used 62 Strat for a ridiculusly low price and proceded to cut off the top horn when it didn't fit in the el cheapo cardboard-like case he had, needless to say I called him every foul name I could think of when I heard of this.
