You are absolutely correct. I mean, she really enjoys playing the game. But she definately feels its "family time". This is exactly why, as I mentioned in my OP, I cant bring myself to tell her how much I hate the game. I literally chew my tongue so I dont scream at the stupid machine. Im ready to smash the stupid guitar though the plasma screen.

Its funny you mention this now because as I write this Im watching her play the game after I backed out. I secretly intentionally failed out, turned my guitar-toy off and walked to the bathroom. She waited for me to come back for 5 minutes. Now Im bitching about it on an internet chat room.

I love the music and I enjoy goofing off with my family. Why cant we play Wii Sports or something else. Anything else...

As much as I really dislike playing those games myslelf (and i really hate it), if my girl liked them and wanted to play with me, I'd totally be up for it. It might be kind of fun since I'm actually pretty horrible at them, to see which one of us can "jam" more on the game. It would be even better if she felt she was better at the game than I was, let her feel good about that. To be able to go to a party and say "I can play those on a real guitar, but she blows me away at GH" would be pretty cool I think, and it would make her feel a little proud perhaps, partially from you admitting that. Just sayin...
