I'm looking at the BOSS RC-2 and RC-20XL. What I've read is the RC-2 has more drum beats, other than that I can't tell why the 20XL is so much more money. I'm new and just want to lay down some loops to play over. I use a Mac and have played with GarageBand, it works ok, but seems a lot easier to just step on a pedal.

I own and love the rc-2 never used the other and it is the only pedal that can make you a better player other pedals might make you sound "better" but not play better and for the money its great
