I was thinking about getting an acoustic guitar, but after playing some finger style guitar with my Stratocaster with the neck pickup and the tone at about 4 on a clean amp setting I figured it's good enough for my purposes. I'll skip the acoustic. That's the problem with the Strat. It always seems to be able to do what I would like to do.

I am with you brother... Gota love strats. That is why many here have them in multiples. Just can't resist them.

You can also get an acoustic simulator but you still don't get that pure acoustic tone. Everyone needs a good acoustic just for those times when there isn't any electricty.
