Taurus, Wilmette is beautiful as ever, the north shore is such a wonderful place to grow up, I go up to Old Orchard (the worlds first shopping center) when i can, Dennis Quaid came to Dyche Stadium to shoot the Cotton bowl scene for his movie The Express, I'm on the sidelines as an extra, they dressed me up to look like a '50s news paper man, I know Northwestern Campus is technically Evanston but still beautiful. And yes its real estate values are some of the best in the country, just a great area to raise a family.

Obama and Daley have had the moments of displeasure for one another but Obama knew he needed Daley to run for Senate and President. It was not until then that the great orator supported Daley's reelection against two minority candidates in Chicago. David Axlerod who ran the campaigns for Bama's senate and Presidency has been Daley's strategist since the 80's. Rahm Emnuel the White House Chief of staff was one of Daley's fundraisers for many years. And lets not forget the Lady Obama worked for Daley for years at the City Planning department.
And face it the Daley family don't have to worry about the orator running against them and they get a voice in the White House to keep earmarks coming. OH yea they got to keep the minority vote at the same time with his support.

I worked for a extra very florist in 2004 and both of you would smile if you knew some the penthouses above the clouds I delivered to for private fundraisers for the then future Commander in Chief. Has anyone heard anything about the unfortunate loss of the Chicago schools president? Does it seem like when the Taco Bell Dog passed away there was a week of obits eulogies sympathies and here the president of schools is gone under mysterious circumstances (mildly put, yes?) and nothing. No questions, no answers, no friends or foes for someone in such an important position. Makes you a little concerned that if something happened like 9/11 during this administrations time the bought and paid for news organizations would call it a small electrical fire with no serious injuries and then drop it from view. Didn't some important best friend or colleague or advisor to the last democrat pres/admin disappear in person and from the press under similar circumstances?? Someone tell me this isn't happening that everything is hunky dory these things are normal.

You're not going to hear it from the mainsteam media, it isn't in their best interest to expose the links to Maobama that Michael Scott had. Kind of like how you did't hear too much about his links to the racist reverend Jeremiah Wright, extremist Bill Ayers or SEIU president Andy Stern from any of the "mainstream" media. They know that would directly show how radical this buffoon in the white house is. You're not going to get that side of the story, all you're going to get is more stories of how many jobs have been saved or created by porkulus bill (even jobs in non-existent districts), more lies about how the health care "reform" isn't going to add a penny to the deficit and of course more finger pointing at the last President. Gotta love America.

dbr, I was worried that was the issue. I haven't had this feeling of being excluded from the political process ("what can my vote do when the elections are fixed?") since the '90s. My heart is broken, this Pres his goons and puppeteers could care less, I feel stupid caring about it. I have to remind myself from this point on to avoid any of this political stuff. I will just think of their wrong doing as natural disasters that I have to work harder at being better at doing more. This push has these results, "all the hired horses and all the hired men sold all the pieces for pennies on the dollar to all of their friends." Thanks for responding Bro.

One thing I would warn against is the feeling, which is natural given the circumstances, of wanting to avoid it all together. Because if the people who oppose this man and his plans and visions of America just seek to forget it or pretend it isn't happening then they just play into his hands. Without resistance these Marxists will be able to push through whatever they please. As you have seen with the health care "reform" issue, resistance and taking an active role in opposition to Maobama, Pelosi and Reid's grand vision WILL make a difference. If it wasn't for the people having voiced their opinions being outraged about the proposed health care "reform" then they would have already passed it through. So without resistance, we the people pave the way for them to do as they please and decide FOR US what they think is best for. The current adminstration is NOT concerned with the American way and it ha already wiped its arse and disposed of our Constitution. It's time to water the tree of liberty. And don't worry bro, there are a lot more people who share your concerns and feel as you do that you would imagine. Stand strong.
