Had a breif play around with one today and noticed that the sound was dropping out when changing voicings, mind you it was a brief play around so I had little time to really work the amp but why does the sound drop when changing voicings? Also what do people think of the effects?

I don't know about the vibro champ, but I have a GDEC Jr and it acts similiarly. I've noticed that especially when its on the tweed or blackface settings its volume level drops off noticably. Not much help in answering your ? but your not alone bro.

I have a SCXD, I haven't really noticed that but it could be that the modeling for the different amps is characteristic for each amp...not sure if that makes sense but hey it is a shot in the dark...

I have a VCXD and I don't know why they can't just keep everything at the same level. I love my Cyber-Champ, too. It does the same thing.

My vibrochamp loses volume on other settings too. 1 seems to be the loudest, closely followed by 6. Its to do with the eq cuts as part of the modeling section of the circuit. Mine just stays on 1 with the treble bass and gain maxed.
