Hey to everyone on the fender forum!

I'd just like to briefly introduce myself.

My names James, I've been playing for just over 3 years now.

I own an ESP LTD EX50, Epiphone Les Paul Special II, some random Ebeca acoustic, and of course a Squier Affinity Strat!

Well when I say noob, I mean I know nothing about Fender guitars. (Well not much anyway) I know a lot about Dean guitars and ESP guitars, as I'm into my shredding and a bit of Metal! But I think I'm getting to the stage where I'm not learning to play my favourite solo's in fast songs, and I'm kinda knuckling down on my playing by playing some older rocks songs now.So just after christmas (February to be exact) I'm thinking of replacing my Squier Strat, as it's worn down a LOT, and has only a bridge pickup, 6 strings, and a volume knob that just about works. I'm hoping to replace it for a Fender Mexican (60's I think) Stratocaster. and I'm probably going to be needing some help to learn about Fender guitars, and If I love the strat much then I'll probably think about replacing my Epiphone for one too!

Well thanks for letting me introduce myself, and I hope I get to make some new friends on this forum too!

James.

Hey there!
and welcome,

I hope you'll find answers to many of your fender questions on here :p
I have to say nice collection of guitars you have there!
But I personally do not like a dean guitar...
and so I'll leave it at that :)
