Hi everyone,

I wrote this piece a few days ago and I want to share. I recorded my Fender Strat only using a Boss GT-10 directly to an audio interface, hope you like and any feedback will be apreciated:

Thanx and Cheers!

Buen Trabajo! I really like it, nice playing! Sounds a little bit like Mana' who I am a huge fanatic of!

Welcome to the forums and post some more, I am really liking the music!
Thanx, its funny you mention "Maná", their not my favorite mexican group, but, a few years ago, when i was recording the second (and last) album with my band ("Cocowash") it was in a Studio where "Maná" recorded one of their first Albums. There was Paco Rosas, a mexican producer, and i asked him his Fender Strat, the one with "Vampiro" recorded the "rayando el sol" solo, that was the first time i played a Strat, since then always my dream was to own one my self. Now that i do, i can't stop playing with "she", hee hee. Thanx! :D

Who is your favorite Mexican group? I mainly listen to Mana' and Cafe Tacvba from Mexico, but would like to learn of some more Mexican groups. Sergio Vallin is the guitarist who inspired me to begin playing guitar. I believe Sergio still plays a Strat on some of their songs despite being a PRS guy. I searched for Cocowash y me gusta la cancion Si Supiera! Tell me of more good Mexican groups please. And again, nice playing. Cuidate

Well, currently I'm not updated, you know, work, family, but i did a little research for you.

Off course, i think "Cafe Tacuba" is the best band ever in Mexico, thought a lot of people says that is not Rock. You can check too:
"Jumbo", "DLD", "Bengala" "Los Liquits", "Zoe", "Yellow Seashore", "Chiquita Viloenta", "Zurdok", "Los Dynimite" , "Yokozuna", "Kinky", "Simplyfires", and, of my time, "Fobia". If you want a bluesy taste, i recomend strongly "Real de 14" with the song "Azul". Hope you like them. I wish, too, to send you a cuople of files, if you want to giveme any e-mail. Nos vemos.

I think Cafe Tacvba is rock, but they also have music that is unique and their own sound, which I what I liked best about them.

Real de Catorce is really good! I like this! I will buy this album for sure! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fZsZgnBXa9Q

Jumbo and Zurdok sounds good, very nice new style rock. Fobia is good too!

I will check out the rest of those bands, thanks for the information!

Thanks!
