It'd be nice to have seen a picture of the cover in question though to see if they are just overblowing the whole situation. I remember when I was way into thrash metal how every now and then someone's CD got delayed in release due to artwork issues...Thats one of the main reasons why I like buying CDs, for the art and its a way it could win out over downloads, but most packaging these days is pretty stale and bland...a bit off topic there...oops.

So, so annoyingly stupid! I can't believe a song is getting banned from live performance.

I had a German girlfriend once, she needed censoring big time!

A tad risque but nothing too bad. Take a look at HR Gigers work for the frankenchrist album by the dead kennedys. I wont post a picture.

Given Germany's usuall liberal attitude to adult entertainment, I can only assume that this has been implemented to protect minors. Not these.

I dont know if I disagree with that. Rammestein do appeal to a younger audience. Perhaps 2 versions of the album should be produced. One for over 18's and one for the little guys with lamps on their hats.

i just checked out the cover. it is a bit on the mental side tbh. bit silly tho, any kid who wants to see the cover just has to do what i just did and google it. so i dont see if banning it from display in shops is gonna have the same effect as it did even just 10 years ago. anyways, free publicity for the album isn't it!?

It reminds me of here back in the 80's when Al Gore and his wife Tipper were all into that PMRI group who said that Ozzy and Judas Priest were bad etc etc...it is so funny how the ones who usually make the biggest noise are usually the ones who do exactly what they protest..sorry I am railing again.

Here's Halford as part of that trial against priest. They were even questioning him about inflection of words. How fascist can one group originating from a 'free country' be? Dee Snider reckons Al Gore wants him dead for saying tipper's got a dirty mind. I for one agree with Dee, how the hell does she see all these demons in music unless she's constantly thinking about em.

Anyway back to my favourite !@$ heavey metal singer.

because they were some of the most immoral/two faced lying people out there...trust me I could write a book about what trash they are and their antics...like that clown Clinton..if I as an Army officer were to do with an intern or any woman other than my wife what he did, I would go to jailbecause of the Officer's code I am bound to...I am fine wiht that because by abiding by it I am above reproach...but he gets off scott free...man see my blood pressure is on the rise... :D

Seen this before. Usually leads to more sales, and publicity, for the band and the "kids" they're trying to "protect" will find a way to listen to it anyway.

hahaha, the bundespruefstelle...

what's with canibal corps?

the text "ich tu dir weh" is much less splatter as some other metal bands sing about.

no one will care about it and buy this album when he/she like the music and band.

hach ja.

schoenen abend noch :D
