Up here in Edmonton the Swine Flu situation seems to be either under control or in a lull. That said my uncle passed away this past November from complications of the H1N1 virus. He was not a healthy man to begin with so the virus attacked him and hit him hard. From speaking with numerous doctors the one thing that I've heard is that unless you have underlying health issues the virus can make you very sick but rarely be fatal. This past winter we met others who had the virus and they ranged from being very sick to having minor flu symptoms.
