Have we not been down this road before? Those guys are joined at the hip just like Mick and Keif and are not that good without the other as has been proven.Tyler is probably taking care of his health issues so Perry is just keeping busy till as everyone has said already a reunion.

It seems to me that bands like the Eagles or GNR; they were in their 20s and 30s when they broke up. A lot of rivalries and differences you have when you're 20, probably don't seem to matter as much by the time you're (as the Eagles were when they reunited) 50. Especially if the money's right.

Aerosmith: they might actually break up, I mean, last time I saw Tyler, he didn't look well. And disagreements in your 60s you can take tot he grave.

People also forget, that Bruce Dickinson and Adrian Smith both left Iron Maiden for solo careers...Iron Maiden still kept going, then a few years later, guess who both came back to Iron Maiden? Rob Halford left Priest, and is now back. These examples are proof that just cause someone leaves today, doesn't mean they won't be back tomorrow...And just cause someone leaves, and band doesn't instantly die...they may put out a few so-so CDs during that period, but there is always a chance of a reunion.

Wow, I didn't even know Aerosmith was still together, much less performing.

Lets see four years from now they will have a reunion which at that time Tyler would be 65

Where are the new great bands?

i have no idea. Here in Belfast there's not too much room for my tastes. There occasionally is somethin decent, but my band is gonna shake the shafts out o the place very very soon. :D

Whatever, Aerosmith lost all relevance about 1988.

By then they were using outside writers for a lot of their stuff (which I really don't respect) and the music wasn't of any particular quality, it became very "pop".
