Hi Riley and Nutter,you're both pretty sharp picking out the G-400 Custom as a great guitar,it's just fabulous for anthing from warm jazzy tones to gut wrenching raunch.The standard Epi Alnico pups are just amazingly hot and with 7 different pickup combinations the tonal variety is limitless. The neck although a good bit wider than my Strat's I'm used to is very comfortable and I can get the action super low with no buzzing at all. My daughter's boyfriend prefers it to his Gibson S.G.,he says it's hotter and far easier on the hands for playing.

Thanks to Ceri,who found this post for me.Super Kid was interested in seeing my circa '66 Vox Astro IV Bass so here it is along with the rest of my kids.
