I am trully envious Guitslinger!
Very beautiiful collection.
The Mustang is gorgeous, and the Kent electric mando is VERY cool.
My hat is off to you sir. :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Thanks for the kind words, the Mustang was my 1st attempt at restoration and refinishing. The previous owner had stripped off the original finish and had very poorly brushed on varnish so I stripped it off and sprayed on Candy Apple Blue.

Looks great. Could you maybe get some solo pictures of it from some different angles?(greedy I know, but in that shot there's some glare  )You didn't by any chance document the process? Did you do a traditional candy, with metallic under coat and transparent colour over it, or was it a one stage metallic paint?

The Candy Apple finish is the traditional with the silver flake metallic undercoat and the transparant blue laquer over it unfortunatelt I didn't have the presence of mind to seal it with a clear lacquer coat and now it's getting to look a bit rough.I didn't take any pix of the process but will try to post more shots of the guitar.

BlackCat Bone wanted to see a pic of my Guild S-100 so the only way I knew how was to bring up pix of all my babies except the Firebird and Jimmie Vaughn Strat, the Blues Jr. and Traynor TS 15 amps.

Yeah that is a super looking Acorn model, everyone speaks very highly of them at the Guild forum. I have played the plain top ones and really liked it, though I am not much of an SG player. If I was ever going to get an SG style guitar it would be a Guild for sure.
