Wow!

You have some amazing stuff! I especially liked the Silverface Bassman and the EH effects!

What years are the EH effects?

Cheers,

CC

Thanks for the nice comments Folks, the Big Muff is from the first year of issue 69-70?,the Bad Stone is around 74,the Electric Mistress was ordered when they came out first circa 75-76.Welcome to the Forum Pat,the folks on these forums are very knowledgeable about anything guitar related.

What is the background on that ornate Guild Sg-style guitar? Did it come from the factory like that? Got any close-up pics?

Great collection, man. Nice

Thanks for the interest guys, the Guild is a 74 S100SC,the SC stands for special carved, the tone would put any Les Paul or SG to shame,It's a pity they dropped it.The plain S100 was favored by Kim Thayill of Soundgarden. The Strat is a Double Eagle Of Toronto,ON,Canada body and neck solid walnut with a 60s L series neck profile, the pups, tuners, pickguard and all hardware is from a 65 Strat.I still have the original neck and body but they were severely damaged by an unsucessful refinishing job by someone I thought was qualified. This was done when the guitar was only 9 or 10 yrs old,if I knew then what I know now. Some day I hope to get all the original guitar put back together but I imagine that will be costly.I'd strongly advise anybody not to do anything to an older guitar other than regular cleaning(gentle)and minor tweaking ie. intonation etc.
