That's why music is so great....diversified....opiniated.....if everyone only liked the same kind of artists/performers/music...things would be pretty dull and boring.

Yea she's a trainwreck, and a bit of pig I my humble opinion.
But she does have a voice that's to my liking for the most part.

I dig her music, as she has her own sound and style and is not some cartoon artist that is programmed and fake like 90% of the female acts of today. But in a year that has seen more celebrity deaths of every field of entertainment, I would stay home until the New Year at the rate she is going. Someone better get the girl some serious help.

Amy Winehouse rules. Total rock and roll trainwreck. I'm surprised more of you guys aren't behind this.

Cant see the point in being behind someone so self destructive.

So by that equation keith richards, srv, hendrix, clapton, keith moon (perhaps the most self destructive of the lot), janis joplin, Bowie, Jagger, (i could go on and on) are all pointless too. After all their excesses dwarf Winehouses. You judge her badly for a lifestyle that pretty much made our heroes. I mean look at the clap, 2 bottles of brandy a day. You should try doing that. If you do it one day you wont do it the next, never mind 7 days a week for a fistfull of years.

Stevie ray vaughn had the same excesses as winehouse, he didnt have a hit record in the uk though. If were going to look at things so bluntly.

What about aerosmith, joe perry and steve tyler. My god even richards and jagger dont compare to them, utter space cadets. Ozzy, motelycrue, GNR. The list of excess really goes on and on.

My point is with all them 'Heroes' listed. If they were judged the same way, this forum would be empty. She's doing nothing they didnt do. Its a bit hypocritical to slate her for her lifestyle then go listen to electric ladyland.

Excellent point Nick!!! I also agree with what you said about she's not afraid to speak what's on her mind. Yeah, she's not sqeaky clean, but she's real, and that's better than some of the lip sync'ing pop stars that are running tunes up the charts today in my book.

She's an entertainer. She's not the pope. She puts out good music. Therefore in my book, she is good at what she does. I could care less about how much drugs she does. That's just an added bonus. Haha.

Her music is good and lifestyle's dont matter to me, I'm a GN'R uberfan for god's sake. I just think she looks like an alien in drag.
