I know it'll be tough to choose just one.

Foe me, I would choose Muddy Waters' Red Fender Telecaster.

Easy. Bruce Springsteen's Blackguard Esquire/Tele! 8)

The Boss is one of my all time idols when it comes to a working man, his Tele and the songs he sings.

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.

Either of Jimmy Page's 1959 Les Pauls would be fine:

1) The "number one" was purchased from Joe Walsh in 1969 for $500 and was heavily used for touring and recording through all of Led Zeppelin's tenure.
2) The "number two" was acquired after the '73 tour and has the highly flamed top.
