Brad I think the best way to do lessons would be to just have three categories Beginner-Intermediate and Advanced. You could take a technique and do it in series. Like beginner lesson Blues turnarounds and do a 1 to 3 part series before starting something else.

Then you could have Jazz chord comping Intermediate level and Sweep picking advanced level and then you could take the same subjects down the road and mix them up by having Sweep picking in the Beginners category ,If you catch my drift.

But I think that by having the three categories would be the most important thing as then there would be something for everyone to have. If you do just one lesson at a certain level it is going to be to basic or to hard for a lot of members and just right for one group.

I agree with straycat re: the 3 levels...kind of like what the Fender Players club was like. As for types of music, fingerpicking and Delta Blues (think Junior Kimbrough and R.L. Burnside, T-Model Ford) would be fantastic.

Air guitar. Seriously, something akin to Chet Atkins' stylings but with more current and popular tunes.

tricks with the vibrato arm and or how to get more expression into the playing?

Jazz,I'm in awe over the fluid and soulful way some of these players like Al Dimeola and Pat Methany do their lightening fast licks with what looks like little effort but is extremely difficult and complex.

We're on the same page as usual bro. I'd love to Chicken Pick like Gregg Koch or John 5.
