Gang: I'm working on some potential lesson content for the site and would like your input on the following question: "What new playing style of technique would you like to learn or improve on?" Post away! :-)

Techniques for playing with a slide would be helpful. I also agree with Delta Blues techniques on acoustic.

I would suggest to branch it out to players skill level

Beginner (Grasshopp-er) = Blues progression, scales, feel, simple licks as the demo.

Intermediate (Gig-er) = Inversions, Scale-modes, more complicated licks as the demo.

Advanced (Jazz-er) = JAZZ (I dont know nothing here except that I still can't reckongnize it  )

I know you are looking for more than "+1" here , but I gotta say that both of these would be great!

Thanks Brad! :D

+1.

I'd love to be better at fingerpicking. Doyle Dykes I will sadly never be - so there's miles of room for improvement!

Cheers - C

I'm going to go with ALL styles and types of playing since I can play very little!

But mostly I just want to learn the blues, I need to learn some Muddy Waters type electric blues and some Skip james style acoustic blues and I will be set.

How about a comprehensive music theory lesson program? Go from beginner to advanced levels where students progress at their own rate.
The Arlen Roth lessons from Gibson are good, but he refers to alot of music theory in his explanations and for those of us who dont have alot of theory background the lessons can be hard to follow.

might be too basic for you but I watched these the other night and thought you might be able to use em. Pretty good eye candy in the last three too!
