Ok, that is a bummer.

So, looking to black Friday in a few weeks. I heard some of you mention that before. What's the deal with that? Is that a call in thing too, or will that be shown on the site? What kinds of deals did they have in past years and what do you think we should expect?

This is the LAST FENDER FRIDAY!!!

What is the opposite of buyers remorse!?

I can't believe I didn't jump on the American Deluxe Ash tobacco burst for 899 a couple of weeks ago. :( :?

I think I'm going to be sick. What a bummer. I wonder if they will have any black Friday specials...

Wow maybe people really took advantage as they had some really great axes for half price and cut back. I bought a lot of gear this year and still wish Iwould of picked up something, but I was hoping the Dave Murray would of popped up. Maybe on Black Friday.

Black Friday is the day after Thanksgiving. There is no call in, just lots of sales. Last year, in addition to a bunch of low prices on numerous items, GC had an additional 15% off any item on Friday (or 10% off on Sat & Sun). Last year for myself, I picked up a shoreline-gold Squier VM Thinline Tele for $245 ... nice.

Better call them now. If I wanted one I could put up with the RW. :)

Oh man, I guess I'll just have to keep searching craigslist and ebay for deals. Guitar Center (westheimer, in Houston) is having a big moving sale now. I wish I could jump on that '67 Fender Coronado they have there, but I'm still about $1000 short.

As an outsider I think its great, for one reason only. If the shops are stopping sales the economy is on the up. Lets face a fact here musical instuments have to be the absolutely least necessary product on the market. If you have any knowledge of playing your chosen instrument 98% of the time you dont need to buy, the other 2% you dont need to buy on sale. Begginer instruments are at their cheapest for great quality.

Thats all good news all round.
