Wow I just came upon this post and cant believe my eyes. deepindigo ask for Christmas cards for a boy that is dying and some guys have the gall to say he is spamming and give him a hard time. Well for those who did, let me cut to the chase and just tell you it does not get any lower than that.

Brad I am really shocked that due to the circumstances you actually caved in and removed it from other boards. There are many guys who only hang in two or three boards myself included. But I think you should of just said we are making an exception in this case. Oh I know people must of had a bad day because it was posted in so many rooms. Bullsh!t a bad day is knowing you are going to die in two weeks and I know this boy has more heart and balls than all you crybabies put together as I cant even call you men.

Niki you are one of the rocks that make this forum the great place that it is. Do not let this make you jet the forum because a few of us would be right behind you as it would not be the same without the Ninja. Once again Ceri you are the voice of reason. I don't believe any forum member would wish nothing but the best for the child!

+1 on that. Ceri, you are a class act. This thread should be all about creating positive vibes. No one would want any negativity coming out of this. I think the guys who thought it was spam made an honest mistake. And this serves as a good example to really try to think before rushing to conclusions.

Yeah, that was an unfortunate response. I undrstand Nevins' reasoning though because the Web makes fakery all too common. I once forwarded an email to my contacts list regarding a "missing little girl." I got at least one very rude (but well written I must say), reply, explaining that it had been around for years and was nothing more than spam.

Nobody's feelings should be hurt by this - it was an honest, (and kinda ballsy, I thought), response that turned out to be wrong.

The bottom line is that ALL of us wish the poor kid well.

Nevin just here me out for one minute. I am probably the least CP savvy guy on this whole forum and to tell the truth I dont know all these technical terms like spam and the like. I just learned what a troll was a few months back from the guy that came on from the Gibson forum to stir things up, and Doc will be the first to tell you when I first came on he would reprimand me for always using caps which I had no idea meant yelling.

You have always been a cool guy so I am taking your word that you thought someone was playing a sick joke as the more time I spend on a computer the more sick $@!& I see people do and I guess there are sick enough people to use a dying boy for a scam or a joke, because I cant believe anyone on the forum who would actually know a boy was dying would complain about someone asking to send cards as we have a great bunch of people on here. Ceri and Kong are both right and no one wants anyone to leave.
