Well they have a catalouge to will at least 1 cd greatest hits album even 2 cds.
Its better than Mily Cyrus releasing a biography at age sixteen.

Grohl does have point tho, when a band releases a greatest hits it kinda signifies a breakup, and i agree Foo Fighters have a lot of hits but a greatest hits cd released now? still a little early

sometimes it's because of a record company change, the old one will release compilations in order to fulfill anything outstanding in the deal. aerosmith have done this once or twice. big ones was when they were leaving geffen to go to columbia, which is why it only contains the hits from permanent to get a grip. which, for only a few albums work, aint bad going
