1 oz light rum
1/2 oz creme de almond
1/2 oz triple sec
sweet and sour mix
pineapple juice
1 oz Bacardi® dark rum

Pour light rum, creme de almond and triple sec, in order, into a collins glass. Almost fill with equal parts of sweet and sour mix and pineapple juice. Add dark rum, a large straw, and serve unstirred.

What a tremendous idea. To suit the name the beverage would have to be sharp, tangy (twangy) and comfortable.
Unfortunately my alcohol consumption is strictly ale or lager, aside the odd drop of scotch. So I'm sorry I cant offer any suggestion.

Champagne and peach liqueur (instead of peach juice).

A Bellini for grown-ups.

I don't know how you'd make it but it'd need to be one of those drinks with different color layers... a dark bottom, red middle and orange top.

Tequila Sunrise? You make it... carefully.

Irish Coffee is another nice layer drink. Google for recipes.

This was my first thought too, like a tequila sunrise. Could be re-named Stratocaster Sunburst

Hhhmmm...if it were me, I don't think I'd worry about the flavor as much as the aesthetic appeal when served. I think it would take a little bit of experimenting but I would want something that "seperates" much like Kahlua and cream does...give the drink a "2 tone sunburst" look to it and then add a headstock shaped swizzle stick.

Hmmm...it would take some experimentation I think...

Peace,
Jim

:) Thanks gratz, it's basically what goes into a 'good' Mai-Tai.
