Post subject: Bands that are better "live" than recordings

For example Toto, decent songs on recordings, but seeing them live you see they are all much more talented than what you hear on their recordings.

Phish and Big Head Todd & the Monsters are 2 bands that I have seen live and like, but I cannot really stand the thought of listening to one of their albums anytime soon.

The MC5 is a band that I have heard was always better live, but all I have to go by is live recordings and bootlegs, where sometimes the audio quality is not too good...

Actualy most bands that I have seen were better live. The only one that plunked was Maroon5 (not proud of that :oops: )
