We have the largest dome in the world that's not used for anything.

Image

And we have NASA. Which is actually pretty cool.

Image

And we have some of the worst sports teams the world has ever known. We'll probably all live on Mars by the time Houston can win a Super Bowl or a World Series.

Image

We have lovely weather. Take last year for example...

Image

So of course we have the blues. :)

John Wayne filmed the Loggers Picnic scene from "North To Alaska" here.

A whole bunch of stuff has been filmed in Big Bear, actually. But that's one of my Favorites. Andy Devine owned a restaurant up here, too. And Mel Blanc wrote a song about us, using Bugs Bunnies voice, talk about cool.

There's also a pretty nice Ski Resort up here that folks like Emilio Estevez and Paula Abdul used to ski at, before they split up.

Oh Yeah, there's some Pretty Darn Good musicians up here, too. :D

Pasadena's well-known for The Rose Bowl,
The Rose Parade & lots of cool local history.

But i've got one word for all those things: Van Halen. ;)

Tipton, (far southwest) Oklahoma. Well... I didn't grow up here, but I think the only thing that's ever come from Tipton is steers and queers... Good thing I live 10 miles out of town in the countryside with the steers!

Dude! I lived in San Clemente for like 18 years! Lake Elsinore is in lots of movies in skydiving shots. I hung out at the lookout on the Ortega Highway above Lake Elsinore and watched the hang gliders go WAY TO HIGH and fly with the engine powered planes.

Hello Tochai,

My hometown is a tiny Village atop a mountain.
Summit Hill. Here in 1791 Phillip Ginter discovered
anthricite coal, the worlds finest, black diamond if you will.
couple of hundred years later they're still mining.

Thats it.

Cheers.
