i live in pensacola florida.

Pensacola, Florida has had an impressive history, being the first European settlement in the continental United States, founded by the Spanish in 1559 [1]. Pensacola was under Spanish rule for almost 240 years, though in three separate periods. It was also a possession of the French, British, United States, Confederate States, and has remained a part of the United States since the end of the American Civil War.[1] Pensacola was the capital of Florida before Tallahassee was founded in 1824.

Back in the 1990's Julia Roberts & Lyle Lovett stopped here and got married. Very few people knew it took place until after they were gone.
Oh, and James Dean was born at the local hospital here and much of his family still lives within 15 miles.

Detroit is known for a lot of things. Motor City, Murder City, Detroit Rock City, cars, great music, Lions, Tigers, Red Wings, Ted Nugent, Jack Black, Kid Rock, Eminem, the Insane Clown Posse, the MC5, and right up the road in Kalamazoo were Gibson, now Heritage.

I live in VA Beach now which iknown for surfing mostly.
