That bloke deserves a medal, never mind 7000 posts. Tell you what lads when he found out he was ill lots of us contributed as best we could. Wellwishes, generosity and whatnot. The guy has turned into a wellspring of similar generosity. He's still out doing the fundraisers, organising jam nights and what not. Even making sure the newer players dont get mistreated by more experienced bolshy players. (I'll let him to tell you the stormy monday story). Helping people all over the world with various things like song editing and production.

The guy is a tireless hero and deserves a knighthood. I reckon we should petition the Queen.
Kudos to ya Mike. Glad you made it through, the world would be a lot worse a place without you. When your ready mate take the 7K.

Nick, it's just numbers mate. I have respect for you for doing the alias thing, but I urge ya to go back to your old user name and just keep on doin' what you've been doin' and very well too.

If it wasn't for chemotherapy last year, I'd be nowhere near the top of the list, but I had a lot of free time and found that it helped and was therapeutic.

We've shared a lot of emails offline about many non-forum stuff and I was amazed when I just read your email.

Well, 7k has come and gone and maybe the new software won't even have post counts? Whatever, it's all good...

...but It was a hectic day and I don't have much else to say, but really mate, go back and do your thing! Almost 6pm and I'm beat!

Cheers!

Congrats Niki & Mike.
That is alot of posts. At the pace I'm going it will take me 20 years to achieve that accomplishment.

Ha - and congrats to Niki too on 7K!

There also seems to be some fella around calling himself Nick's Alias who's well on the way to his first pick... :D

(I bet there's some newcomers wondering what the heck is going on! )

Cheers - C

Well...he didn't allow the spelling of that quite right so, when I suggested that I would publish the correction he took the option of going quietly into the night. I don't think we'll be hearing from him again. 8)
