That's a nice promotion, and very appropriate! We in the US owe our military veterans a great debt -- it would be nice for more of the big resaurant chains to follow Applebee's lead.

Hope so. I come from a long line of military men in my family in all four areas--army, navy, air force (my daddy :oops: ), and marines.

God bless them and their families.

I've always liked the cell phones for troops. You print out a prepaid label, put your dead cell phone in it, and it's recycled for phone cards so the troops can call home.

Wish our troops and vets could eat free more often.
