Sorry to hear of this terrible misfortune that has befell your mom. I'm not a great christian by any means and have been backslidden for ten odd years now. But I'll offer up a prayer for your mom now.

My prayer is for comfort in this world and a direct deliver into grace in the next.

My mom went to be with the Lord back in '80 - lost dad in '64.
My mom was glad to go.

I still see my mom's prayers being answered.

Of course I'll pray for your mom and you and your family.

Derek my prayers go out to your mom and your family that all turns out for the best. I have to agree with you that our forum community is great, and always there for other forum members in times of crisis, and that makes me extra proud that I am a member of this forum. So tell your mom she has a lot of prayers coming her way.
