The Hollywood division of the LAPD contacted me to help locate the original owners of stolen guitars they just recovered.

If you had a guitar stolen in the Los Angeles area in the past 2 years and have the serial number, contact me at www.ScreamingStone.com - or contact the Hollywood LAPD.

Please spread the word to other musicians - it would be great if we could get these guitars back to the original owners.

What a great way to help people who have had their guitars stolen. Its too bad we cant punish guitar thieves in the same manner that horse thieves were punished in the old west.

Yeah - getting your gear stolen is one of the worst feelings ever. I know - someone stole one of my guitars which is why I started the stolen music instrument recovery project - seeing if publicizing instrument thefts can help musicians get back their gear.
