I'm not sure if this is in the correct place but seeing as how it dosn't concern one perticuler I assume it would go here.

Anyway heres my question.

I was wondering if anyone out there could give me some info on MIMs. 95 MIM to be exact. I had heard someone say the following about them but if I remember correctly this is wrong. So if anyone can help that would be great.

"Squier series Mexico guitar were a step between Squiers built in Asia and Standard Series Mexico guitars. I think it was bodies and necks made of spare Mexico parts, and hardware and pickups were Squier."

Now here's the thing if I remember correctly a 95 MIM was not a Squier. It was what we now know as the Standard series.

Thanks for your help.
