In my humble opinion, you also need the following:

Mance Lipscomb
- Texas Songster
- Texas Songster, Vol. 2 : You Got To Reap What You Sow
- Captain, Captain!

Pink Anderson
- Vol. 1: Carolina Blues Man
- Vol 2: Medicine Show Man

Mississippi John Hurt
- The Complete Studio Recordings

8)

That's an ok start but there are too many to list.

You don't have anything by Clapton, Robert Cray, Otis Rush, Johnny Winter, Taj Mahal, Susan Tedeschi, Bonnie Raitt, Son House, Ry Cooder, Etta James.... this may take a while....

And sticking to the "Best Of" will rarely get you the gems. For instance, BB Kings "Live At The Regal" and "Live From Cook Country Jail" are two of his best recording's IMHO.

Stratoblues I think you should repost this in a few months so that you can take some time to digest the great music you have That sure is a lot of listening to, and also some very powerful stuff. But if you are still looking to add on wow I mean everyone that posted above me has given you great stuff but the Beano album which is the Bluesbreakers with Clapton I would say is a must have, and Layla is one of my all time favorite albums period though it is not straight blues in the sense you are looking for. You should check out early Fleetwood Mac with Peter Green and some Mike Bloomfield. But again take it slow and digest and enjoy the music you have, as we are all still adding to our collections and I am 47.
