Hi Australian Forum users.

Is this Joe's first time in Australia? If so, maybe he'll start off in small venues - and if that happens be sure to bag tickets! Like most others, he's by far best in intimate little spaces, where you can hear his rig straight off the stage rather than through the PA. It's a ludicrously complicated rig - but when you are standing about ten feet in front of it you suddenly get the point. Zammo - what a sound!

He first came to the UK about five years ago playing a tiny club half empty in front of about 60 people. (That was at the Boarderline, if anyone knows it...) I've seen him several times in small houses, and finally was present at the big Albert Hall gig earlier this year. That was a landmark and I was glad to be there (you can see me in the crowd on the DVD!): but the little venue shows were FAR better.

Catch him if you can. You won't be sorry!

Fairly sure Bonamassa hasnt played in oz before,the b/bay event is a outdoor gig,maybe he will do some other gigs while over here,can only hope!
