I know some of us "guys" give our favorite guitars feminine names, and I was just curious if the lady players out there give their favorite axes masculine names? :)

My Acoustic guitar's name is Dusty. My Les Paul's name is Paul. My T-60 is Tank, and it's a him. My Strats are just called the purple one and the blue one, or the Squier and the Fender, but they definately aren't "she"s. :)

I do that with cars but never thought about guitars. Now I should think of a name. ;)

Actually, strangely enough, I gave mine a female name.

Satine.

Just the colors made me think of the character and I've always wished I looked like Nicole Kidman instead of well, me. LOL So, Satine it is.

That last one, my Brian May Signature, I still haven't named yet. I just need to take the time to sit down with it and think of THE perfect name. I want it to be my own creation, and just a really great, unique name.
....
This is gonna be hard.

Edit: Typo

I think some of you misunderstood the post, or maybe I just am, but I think they are wondering if any female forum members name their guitars like many of the male forum members do. And if they do, are they named male or female...

However, it doesn't look like we have many female forum users, and sometimes the ladies we do have don't mention they are female. Which does not surprise me at all, since many people acted like, or perhaps some still are, puberty-teens who have never seen or touched one in real life on the recently locked Boobs thread....

Daughter immediately named her red Stratocaster, "Merlot."
