I can certainly appreciate this sentiment so I won't be one of the folks that says "stick around". My advice is simply don't worry about deleting the account...just don't log in any more. I got that way with a photography forum...the people there were -extremely- rude (far beyond most things I've ever encountered here), so I just stopped going...and haven't been back since.

Not trying to be rude here myself but it really is as simple as that...no one forces you to type "www.fender.com/community" in to your browser...you are the one solely responsible for that initiative. No one here forces you to even turn on your computer...when you press that power button, you've made a choice. Regardless, sooner or later any emails will subside (usually within a couple of days), so just ignore them or even better, just put the addy in to your spam filter so you won't see them to begin with. After that, just don't log in any more.

I do wish you peace and luck and I hope that you find what you are looking for.

Jim

 SUDDENLY A LIGHT COMES ON!!!

Erm - is Forum user SlapChop none other than Jim Bordner at Gravity Music? The music clips he posted were hosted there; he made a decal that says "Jim" for his S-type headstock...

Am I way behind the curve? Have I just belatedly worked out what everyone else has known all along?

Anyhow. Where has Doktor SlapChop got to? He surely ain't the man to leave town because of some silly heated words on that thread the other day...?

Cheers - C

I don't know Ceri, but he left the last time because of similar issues...

Lets hope He's just out for a bit...

Uh-hu? I hadn't been around that long myself back then, so I don't really remember the circumstances.

I like this place when it's nice and friendly, and I believe others feel the same way. Hate to think of anyone leaving with bruised feelings...

Cheers Bill - C

Well, if it's right then I certainly feel like the dumb kid at the back of the class who only just sussed it, months after everyone else.

But if it's so then we know how to reach him. Should we send a friendly message, do you think?

Cheers - C

Didnt work it out either.

You'd of thought he'd have been open enough to unveil himself.

I got arrested once for that.

Nothing to hide.

Please excuse me, I mean no malice at all. Just had my head done in by a incompetent primadona that it looks like I'm gonna have to sack.

GravitySlap. Please if you read this, know I mean no offence and was just making a wisecrack. I value your input, whatever name you post under, as I do Straycat's.

Niki, it seems that he did unveil himself.

I don't think "everyone else" connected the dots, I know I didn't. Not because we were thick, but because we weren't very concerned about it.

All's I know is I think it is time for Ceri to post his own take on the album cover from Pink Floyd's "Animals". How is that relevent to this conversation? Well, it isn't. But when has that ever stopped us? Ceri should have won a Pulitzer for it as far as I am concerned. Post it up, Ceri ... (please) ... I am at a point right now that I need to see some greatness ...
