We might just catch that group that keeps playing there. What are they called?.......The Beatles?
Have a good night. :D

I heard it was the Tony Sheridan Quartet.

Hello and welcome Jaster from NL the far east of Canada.Don't worry about getting GAS,it's a wonderful affliction as is A.S.S.(amp stockpiling syndrome),I've had 28 GAS attacks and about 12 A.S.S. attacks with no ill effects other than the occasional trip to the doghouse.Good luck with your pickin'.BTW the Blues Jr. is a gutsy little amp.

Jaster,

I just joined and saw your post. Ihad a Blues Jr and traded it in on a used Cyber Deluxe this past summer. The BJ was a cool amp, but as a basement player, I rarely could get it to a volume that made use of the tubes. The CD can actually be louder but it can get better tones at low volumes and does have a headphone jack. The other posts are correct; that amp is definitely not simple and will require some learning. But overall it is a cool amp with a variety of tones. The SuperChamp always sounded thin to me when I tried it. I'm playing a G&L Legacy with their vintage single coil pups.

Hey welcome to forum from Toronto. I have a SuperChamp XD and definitely vote for it. It sounds great at low 2-3 volume as well as all out. I will tell you that it lacks in live situation if not hooked to PA. Mine also has the tube rattle issue which is fixable and does not have hiss as some owners are reporting Since I am using planet waves and similar quality cables the whole rig is quiet.

Since you are learning keep it on the channel 1 and turn only some reverb in the effects section. Later when you got things under control let me know I will dig out the website where you can check all the voicings in detail and make the amp sing.

BJ is an excellent amp, however for the price in Toronto area you might as well invest little bit more money and get serious semi-professional rig (just my opinion).

Hope that helps
