...Some of the older folks on here may remember him. He was a host of one of those kid shows that also had some adult humor in it. I remember watching it growing up. My brothers and I loved it, but my Dad thought it was stupid. But, he let us watch it because it kept us quiet for awhile.

His sons, Tony and Hunt Sales were musicians who played on Todd Rundgren's Runt LP, Iggy Pop's Lust For Life and Bowie's Tin Machine.

Me too, actually. According to what I read, he died yesterday... heard nothing about it until today.

I used to watch him all the time in NYC on WNEW when I was a kid...definitely the passing of a funny man....send me those green pieces of paper with men in beards on them!
