Hey people, Ed Mardell here. You may remember seeing this store front:

Well, we've been slaving away for weeks, and have now got another shop two doors down just for acoustics. Check out this baby!

OH YEAH!

Oh that is too cool! 8)

I expect to see another picture caption in Guitarist magazine's "news" pages shortly...

BTW: the shop to the left appears to have a similar approach to their frontage too - I wonder what they sell? On the other hand, Southampton Child Care are just not trying, are they?

Cheers - C

Hi again Ed: now I'm thinking about it I'm wondering how you did all that excellent lettering? Did you have a sign writer do it, or use stencils, or transfers, or...?

It really is a nice piece of work - have you had any response from Marshall? Their acoustic amps don't usually get the limelight so much. They must be delighted!

Hi Ceri - We did it in close conjunction with Marshall - in fact they paid for some of the work to be done! We have a shop friend who is a graphics artist etc, he sorted us out with all that, he's also responsible for the window decals we use. However, INSIDE, is even better. I've never seen a store like it. I'll take a shot of it tomorrow for you guys.

What interesting and unique store fronts. Probably the best idea I've seen in along time. And also of the 2 most important brands in my opinion.

Vox, I think would look cool - but the control plate becomes a difficulty there. This is it for now lads, two shops is where we stop.
