I just had another idea. Someone has probably already mentioned it though. It'd be cool to have a search feature where you could see all the guitars Fender makes with a certain feature. Like it could show you all the guitars with a certain type of pickup or a certain neck profile etc.

Products: various photo angles like you would get on Wildwood's site, you tube demo links, celeb demo links? Off topic, but products in general: Some blackface hand wired like what you've been doing with the tweeds, more nitro guitars, less poly...

I think it's already been mentioned, but it would be really cool to be able to input:

Modern C neck
25.5 scale
medium jumbo frets
9.5 radius
1.650 nut
maple vintage tint

and have the site tell me which of the models come with that kind of neck. Sucks when you spend a bunch of time looking through the products, then opening up a 2nd window for the specs, and trying to compare specs and remember which ones you were looking at. It would be great to just get a list saying, "these are the guitars with a neck like that or close to that."

It would make it so much easier to narrow down the choices. Colors and pickup configurations and such could come later, for me it's all about the neck that feels right. And I know exactly what neck feels right to me, and I'm sure most players do too.

thanks for listening to us.

Some of the links are missing (the mission/vision/values page isn't linked anymore, have to google for it, so is the jobs section), some sections are outdated (the international products guides date to Winter 2007).
I would find helpful to have the MSRP prices listed on the site as well (just to get an idea).
Also, the international sites are not that consistent with the "mothership", some sync would be cool, at least graphically and the way they are organized; also to be able to quickly find region specific models (like the Ritchie Kotzen sigs from Japan) and so on.
I like the Squier site presenting all sigs, even if they're limitely distributed.
O, and having the store available internationally would be cool too.

A more complete guitar pallet would be awesome. Also, there are a few typos that exist in there, maybe I'll find some later.

So in my book, more guitar images and you're good to go. :]

Nearly every idea here would be fantastic!

I would love more detailed photos and many of them for all angles and for every finish.

I really like the idea of sound samples and an input search system.

I'd like to see lessons put up on here by your artists... or even a weekly riff section. Help the kids learn how to play their strats!!! I think that way, the site will get more hits, and you can also demo products while doing so

Also, I notice there are fender buyers out there not knowing what they want. How about a tool that you can use to help determine the best guitar for their needs?

The key thing Fender- Lead by example. He who does it better, raises the bar

The product section along with a few more are down for some maintenance. Maybe this is what we've been waiting for. :)

I like the section but it needs to be more raw and easier to find info on what your looking at. And more pics of inside of stuff would be cool too. I like seeing in the insides of a amp or a strat all the wireing and tubes!

Links to buying pages on the European version of the site, and a European pricelist.

Perhaps yous could team up with www.gak.com to make that possible

I'm not sure if this was mentioned but being able to do a side by side comparison and the ability to change pickups/pick guards etc...that would be really cool...
