If you do a search on this forum (as well as the internet in general) you'll see this topic has been covered to death. People pretty much either seem to love them or hate them...personally I'm in the later. Can't see spending extra for a pre-beat on MIM instrument...but that's just me. Either way, try using the search function on the forum and look for "road worn".

Hi ali no problems its a good subject thats either completely one sided or just gets ugly . Its all about opinions and thats all you will get . I played about 5 different ones at NAMM last winter, loved them all especially the teles. Thats my opinion , Im only judgeing on tone and playability, of coarse ive never picked up a tele I didnt like

Hi Ali, I don't mind the road worns. I can remember Rory Gallagher playing a Strat that was in a real bad way, looked just like them and even had the bottom horn knocked off. Mind you it was a natural road worn from the early days and he played that for a long time. Loved it.
A lot of people like them, what do you think?
It's about personal opinions.
