How do you get the notice of these specials? I've been on the site, but all I see is a number to call for Friday deals?

You have to call on Fridays and they will tell you which models and what the prices are.

I popped for the G.E. Smith Telecaster, which I've been eyeing for over a year .... I haven't even seen beat-up used ones at that price .... $999.99, no tax, free shipping .... LAST week I almost called to see if they wouldn't substitue IT for the SRV they listed (but I didn't). As it turned out, all I had to do is wait a week

Tiednbound, make sure you post a pic when it arrives, and let us know if it sounds any different than a typical Tele. I almost bought one myself, but decided to wait and see if they run a deal on a 57 VR Strat, or Eric Johnson Strat.

So, here it is. These aren't great pics, but I'll do them again later .... I want to go over it and take the protective film off it first. The neck is like a baseball bat .... really fat ("U"-shaped). Fender Artist Series G.E. Smith Telecaster

wow tied nice.

I actually was fiddling around with one of those at the shop near me just the other day. It was a blonde colour.

I am developing TAS I think, I don't have a tele, and really the last 2 guitars to really catch my eye are a GE Smith like you have, and a Nocaster.

I've already tried to call and find out, but they said they wont even know until right before 6:00 a.m. Central time. I'm hoping for either VR Tele, American Deluxe Tele, VR Strat or Hot Rod Strat. At the right price that is.

It looks like at least some items qualify for shipping to Canada. If you go to the MF site and click on that Gibson Reverse V on the home page and it takes you to that product it says right below availability on the rt side that item will ship to Canada.
