Post subject: Question about a 1990 Fender USA JP-90 Jazz P-Bass

I am in the market for a good bass for my 15 year old son. He is taking an interest in the bass, and would like to know if a JP-90 is a good choice for a 15 year old.

jttaylor, welcome to the Forum, you may want to look at his size because if he is not fully grown a short scale bass could be the best choice for him right now. this is a Fender Forum but a Gibby EBO 30" scale could keep his interest until he is big enough for a Fender.
