Hey guys,

Alright, so, I'm asking this question about my Fender acoustic which got signed by Tommy Emmanuel several months ago.

I've been curious....
Is there any particular way to store it to protect the autograph? I hardly play it now, due to the fact that I don't want to risk damaging the autograph. :P

Any help with this would be awesome. Thank you. :D

My Strat is signed by Jimmie Vaughan (back of the headstock) and I just stuff it in it's gig bag when I'm not playing it. I am a little more careful with it than any of my other guitars though. So far so good. :)

The easy answer is to put clear packing tape over it. Nail polish works well too is applied right. The "correct" way of doing it involves sanding and reapplying a top coat.

Haha, that's exactly what I do. It's been working just fine so far.

Packing tape?
But wouldn't that strip something off of it if you had to remove it for anything? :?

Edit: Typo

Probably not, as long as the ink was dry when you put it on. Why would you take it off?
