Holy crap, how much are new Highway Ones in Portugal?

LOL. YES. BUT here customs are really annoyin' that's why. I bought a pod xt from us ebay and man believe me. From 170$ I paid another 150$ here. That's not worth it...

Hi bytewax: the sale has finished so this comes too late. But for the record, that is a Korean made Lite Ash Stratocaster, which was a Fender Special Edition model, discontinued at the beginning of this year.

This model came with a birdseye maple neck with black plastic trussrod entry hole, abalone dot markers, a light ash body and Seymour Duncan pickups - all of which the picture shows. This one also has a nicely matched two piece body, which is pretty.

The Fender Dater Project does not include Korean serial numbers, which is what's confusing you about that unfamiliar number.

This guitar looks nice but you didn't miss a bargain. That price is not far off what they cost new in the shops. I bought a new Lite Ash Tele in London a couple of years ago for about £390.

Lite Ash Strats and Teles come up on Ebay in Europe all the time. If you want one just watch and wait and it will come your way, probably at a better price. Here is one for sale in England at the moment (though it is listed "collect only" - which will keep the price down):
