Just got her on Friday and I am really impressed. I have always heard good things about Blueridges and them being an affordable alternative to a Martin or Taylor. THe BR-160 is the one I chose. It's Sitka Spruce solid top, i like the inlay on the new and headstock and it was voted #3 acoustic by guitar world mag i think last year. I had played other BR's and liked them so I made the jump ad got one. Good price too so if anyone is ever looking for a MArtin or BR, maurys music .com is the place to go. unreal deals there.

I am 10000% satisfied and can't believe how much better it sounds than my old acoustic and others I have played. I can say that (for now  ) my search for a quality acoustic is over.

I walked away from that exact model last year used at GC for $400. I liked it but had never heard of Blueridge guitars before. I should've got it but at the time i wanted new and known. I guess that's one for the ones you let get away thread.

It was used without a case but it did have the Fishman electronics in it. I really liked it but i just didin't know enough about them. Know i kick myself for it everytime i see a Bluereidge and the same thing happened with a Morgan Monroe. Just think i got a Takamine G series instead. I'M STUPID

this one is a staight acoustic but now I'm going to look into one of their acoustic electrics, maybe one day I'll have the cash to get one.

I bet that Takamine is nice too! I've played some of those and really like them.

Well i liked it at first but I have a Jasmine by Takamine that plays and sounds alot better. It is way too bright thru my amp for my taste. I'm thinking about selling it and going back after the Morgan Monroe which is alot nicer for about the same price that i paid for the Tak but comes with a humicase.
