Is anyone else watching Ban Harper & Rentless7 on Austin City Limits? All I can say is WOW!!! He has to be one of the best slidesmen on the planet. The band is really tight and they sound amazing.

I missed it by I will be on the lookout - thanks - the guy is great.

Another great pedal steel guy is Robert Randolph and the Family band. Real high energy stuff and the guy is truly a genius.

Speaking of Austin City Limits. I would KILL for a DVD of the Danny Gatton appearance from years ago. I was a big Gatton fan and I was lucky enough to see him live twice. I've seen youtube clips taken from that show that were uploaded from VHS, but if PBS has the masters they should do a DVD!!
