John Lennon was born this day in 1940, John Entwistle was born this day in 1944.Both were part of the soundtrack of my teen years, and I'm not sure which I miss more.

When I went to see the Lennon in NYC exhibit at the Rock and Roll HOF Annex in Soho, the saddest thing I had seen in years was the display case at the end with the paper bag of John's personal effects that Yoko got back from the NYC Police Dept. at the end of the day he was killed...she wrote something like "I left that day with my husband and came back with a paper bag".
