Yes, many were going for the e609 and surprisingly at a tie with the Sennheiser, the Blue Snowball USB condenser mic was also a top pick.

What was it about the e609 you liked over the other two mics?

Tip: Once the video is fully loaded, you can use the slider to fast forward and rewind to compare the sounds faster as the Letters identifying the mics makes it easier to see where you are as you forward and rewind.

I am no microphone expert by any means.

So I'm gonn skip the colorful adjectives.
It just seemed more "Live".

The snowball was my second choice.
The USB thing going on with the snowball may put it at #1 though.

Sample C or #3 to me sounds like a combination of Sample A and B. It has the high end and clarity of sample A and have the midrange and bottom end of sample B.

GOD, I edited my post for typos, and I didn't even get both of 'em....
TIES, not "times"....

And yeah, I liked the A mic the best because I thought the overall sound of it was better than the other two.
I really liked the tone in A and C, though. It could really be a toss-up between the two.

And how could someone think A was B?!?!? They sound completely different!!

I was no good at the test because I did not like any of them. Sure you can hear the differnce mostly in the drive but not the quility. I have heard much better amp micing then that.
