I think everyone knows someone that does this, but what's the point in spoiling movies for people? I hate it when there's a movie I really want to see and then my friend starts talking about the movie and when I say, "stop, I really don't want to hear anything about it since I want to watch it." He kind of laughs and KEEPS F*&KING TALKING!!!

I really hate that. And it just happened again recently for a movie I've been wanting to see. I just don't get why when you tell someone basically, "Stop talking about the movie." they keep talking?!?!?!

is it some kind of morbid pleasure in ruining movies for people? Why do I want to go see a movie now that I was just told the ending after repeatedly asking to not spoil the movie for me.

Some people just need to get slapped with a bag of wet dog sh*t!

/end bitc*y rant.

How 'bout a lit up cellphome - two rows in front of you, in a dark movie theatre?

"It's all about me, me, me, just me. There are no other people in this theatre - just me!"

(Thanks for letting me get that off my chest.)

a friend of mine sussed the 6th sense out 17 minutes into the film and told me the answer. I was dumbstruck to find he was right.

It doesnt worry me, I enjoy a film even if they dont make much sense. I'm still pondering Donnie Darko. I enjoy all of the film. Its the story, not just the ending. We're losing the art of storytelling, fast.

I agree all the way and this was something my older brother taught me from a young age. Yes we all have films we have watched many times, but there is nothing like that first time. I have no problem with someone figuring out the main focal point and there are movies that I will let someone tell me about. Usually an action film or comedy. I will never forget when they were making Carlitos Way with Pacino by my house and my friend got me in to see the train scenes being shot plus I got to meet Al who was super cool. Anyway I was looking really foward to it coming out and my inlaws went to see it the first day. When I asked them how it was my father in law said really good but I knew they were going to kill him at the end. I was dumbfounded and it totaly killed it for me when I saw it. There are people out there that want you to tell them the whole movie before they see it and I dont get it.

In the Sixth Sense it turns out Bruce Willis is living in a matrix generated by a huge computer for no reason anyone can work out. The kid is just a piece of AI.

...All of that was obvious to me about 20 minutes in, so I stopped watching.

Oops, did I spoil it for anyone?

Cheers - C

it's not just you, I keep wishing I could invent some kind of keychain I could point at cell phones and make them explode.

Cell phone out and talking during the movie? BOOM!! Now you're deaf in one ear and pulling plastic out the side of your face.

Driving and swerving into my lane on the highway while you talk on a cellphone? BOOM!!

as society gets stupider and stupider I seem to get more sociopathic.
